The Elevate Outdoor Steel Cargo Carrier with Folding Sides will keep your camping gear, extraneous supplies, cargo and smaller items firmly contained as you travel to your destination. Manufactured from powder-coated steel, this carrier weighs only 56 pounds yet can support up to 500 pounds of cargo. The four-sided fencing not only reins in items that might be prone to falling off otherwise, it provides a plethora of additional places to firmly tie-down your cargo. If you decide you don't need to use the fencing, it can be easily folded down or removed for larger or bulky items.

Please note, hitch-mounted carriers are not recommended for use on RVs, motorhomes, or tow-behind trailers including 5th wheel and camping trailers. Never exceed the lowest maximum rating of either of these two: vehicle's tongue weight and vehicle's trailer hitch tongue weight. Be aware that your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's suspension. Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension and prevent sagging. Carriers are not recommended for hitches less than 12" from the ground to the bottom of the hitch. Never place items directly on top of the fencing, as this could result in damage to the cargo carrier or your items. Do not transport live animals in this carrier.
