Elevate Outdoor Hitch-Mounted 4 Bike Platform Rack

Take your bikes anywhere with the Elevate Outdoor Hitch-Mounted Tray-Style Four-Bike Rack. This bike rack installs on Class III or IV 2" hitch receivers and is manufactured from durable powder-coated steel for reliable use year-over-year. It supports a total weight of 160 lbs. with the outer trays each supporting up to 30 lbs. and the inside trays each supporting up to 50 lbs.

The rack has padded arms to protect bike frame finishes, and the wheel tracks are adjustable along the beam to accommodate different wheelbases. The center post arms move up and down to secure bikes, and the center post can be folded for storage or to facilitate bike loading.

When the rack is empty and installed on a hitch, it can be folded up against the vehicle to create a smaller vehicle footprint or tilted down for easier access to the rear of the vehicle. When the rack is empty and about to be stored away, the center post can be folded down and the wheel holders folded up for more compact storage.

Please note, this bike rack is not designed for use with e-bikes. Hitch-mounted racks and carriers are not recommended for use on tow-behind trailers including 5th wheel and camping trailers, motorhomes or RVs. Never exceed the lowest maximum rating of either of these two: vehicle's tongue weight and vehicle's trailer hitch tongue weight. Be aware that your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's suspension. Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension and prevent sagging. Carriers are not recommended for hitches less than 12" from the ground to the bottom of the hitch without the use of a riser adapter. Carrier must be empty before tilting down for rear vehicle access.
