Designed for easy, roll-on loading so that you never have to lift your bike up, the Elevate Outdoor 2-Bike Hitch-Mounted Platform Rack comes with a large 56" loading ramp that secures directly to the carrier when not in use. The steel design supports up to 200 lb. total, or two bikes weighing up to 100 lb. each, so depending on your make and model you can leave the battery in place for transport.

When not in use, the center post folds down, and the wheel holder platforms fold up to reduce the footprint size on your vehicle or in your garage during storage. Both front and rear wheel cradles adjust to accommodate multiple bike sizes, and padded support arms hold bike frames secure while protecting their finish from damage. It fits 2" hitch receivers.

Please note, this model is not compatible with 1.25" trailer hitches. Hitch-mounted carriers are not recommended for use on tow-behind trailers including 5th wheel and camping trailers, motor-homes or RVs. Never exceed the lowest maximum rating of either of these two: vehicle's tongue weight and vehicle's trailer hitch tongue weight. Be aware that your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's suspension. Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension and prevent sagging. Carriers are not recommended for hitches less than 12" from the ground to the bottom of the hitch without the use of a riser adapter. Know the weight of your E-bike with and without the battery before purchasing to ensure this carrier is appropriate for your make and model.
