The featured steel Silver Spring Folding Scooter and Wheelchair Carrier has a built-in 42" long folding loading ramp, and a 48" L x 27-3/4" W platform. It is compatible with Class III and IV trailer hitches. The multi-level hitch adapter can be used to raise your carrier 4-1/2" to prevent bottoming out while driving up steep inclines, or lower it 3-1/2" to make loading and unloading easier. Also included in this kit are spring pin handles to easily fold the carrier, two retractable tie-downs to secure your mobility device, and a water-resistant cover to protect your power chair during transport.

Never exceed the maximum tongue rating of your trailer hitch and be aware that your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's suspension.
