The Silver Spring Universal Electric Power Chair and Scooter Lift and Carrier is designed for use with all types of power chair and scooter wheelbases measuring up to 42" long x 27" wide and weighing up to 350 lbs. Installation is a breeze and requires no drilling or modifications to your vehicle. Featuring a folding design, this lift easily stows vertically after use, saving space while improving visibility. The Silver Spring power chair lift and carrier is compatible with any vehicle equipped with a Class II, III, or IV hitch.

Usage Guidelines
Please note, hitch-mounted mobility carriers are not recommended for use on tow-behind trailers including 5th wheel and camping trailers, motor-homes or RVs. Never exceed the maximum tongue rating of your trailer hitch and be aware that your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's suspension. Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension and prevent sagging. Carriers are not recommended for hitches less than 12" from the ground to the bottom of the hitch without the use of a riser adapter. A license plate riser is required to be used with this carrier in the following states: AK, AL, AZ, CA, CO, FL, HI, ID, KS, MT, ND, NV, OR, PA, SD, TX, UT, VA, WA. This is to ensure that the license plate is easily identifiable at all times, even when the carrier is unoccupied. It is your responsibility to understand your state's laws and regulations, as well as any states you will be traveling through. Please note that if you are purchasing this carrier from one of the states listed above, we automatically add the compatible license plate riser to your order for an additional charge.
